Cbank sets commission for currency purchases via brokers at 12%

MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank has reduced the commission for currency purchases by individuals via brokers to 12% from 30%, and set the commission for legal entities at 12%, the regulator said in a statement on Friday.

“After an additional analysis of the situation, in order to equal competitive conditions on the market and to support financial stability, the central bank will reduce the commission for currency purchases via brokers by individuals from 30% to 12%, and will set the commission for legal entities at 12% of the operation sum,” it said.
